If your Facebook page is already connected to Promoboxx, but you you getting notified about failed shares or seeing error messages regarding your Facebook page connection, you might need to disconnect your page and Facebook account so that you can start fresh. You could receive connection errors that look like the images below:
You might also receive email notifications about scheduled shares failing to post. All of these could indicate that your connection has been broken. This can happen if you change your password, if Facebook does a privacy update, or due to a few other Facebook-related reasons that can disrupt the connection. Luckily it is easy to fix!
First, you'll need to head to your Social Accounts tab in your Promoboxx Dashboard.
Then, click on +Add Facebook/Instagram Pages:
You'll want to disconnect your page first. Click on the 3 dots in the upper righthand corner of the Permissions Manager popup. Then select Remove this Page.
You will then see a popup asking if you are sure. Click OK.
Next, you need to remove your Facebook account. To do this, click the 3 dots to the right of Profiles, and then click Remove this Account.
You will once again have to confirm you are sure, by clicking OK. Then you should be looking at a blank Facebook Permissions Manager like the view below.
