Connecting your Instagram Page to your Meta Business Portfolio

Here is a broken-down walkthrough:

1. Open your business’s Facebook page on Facebook, ensuring you are logged in AS the page “account” (note the icon in the top righthand corner, is it your personal profile picture, or an icon representing your Facebook business page?). Go to Meta Business Suite on the left side menu.

2. Ensure you are in the correct page’s Meta Business Suite by noting the name of the account on top of the lefthand side menu (noted with red arrow below). Then click on Settings at the bottom of the menu.

3. Click on Pages in the new lefthand Settings side menu, then click on the Facebook page name:

4. Click on Connected assets in the page’s resulting popup. If you do not currently have an Instagram page connected to the Facebook page, your screen will look like this, and you should click on Connect assets:

If you do currently have an Instagram account connected to your Page in this Business Portfolio, your screen will look more like this:

5. Once you click on Connect assets, you will be prompted to log into the associated Instagram account that you are looking to connect. Follow the prompts to log in and connect the account:

6. As a final step, you will be asked to confirm that you want to link this Instagram account to both your Facebook page, and the associated Business Portfolio:

Once your Facebook and Instagram pages have been connected, you should be able to refresh your Promoboxx dashboard and be enabled for Instagram sharing. It is possible the connection could take a few hours to sync depending on how quickly or slowly Meta and Promoboxx can communicate at the time.
