Connecting your Facebook Page and Instagram to Promoboxx

Promoboxx makes managing your social channels easy. To use Promoboxx to its full capacity, we suggest connecting your business' Facebook and Instagram pages.

1. To connect your Facebook page to Promoboxx, log in to your Promoboxx Dashboard and select the Social Accounts tab on the left-hand side. Then click the "+Add Facebook/Instagram Pages" button on the right.

2. Connect your Facebook Account. This should be the account that is a Business Admin/Owner of the Facebook Business Page and associated Meta Business Portfolio.

3. Choose the page(s) that you wish to connect to Promoboxx. 

4. Choose the Business Portfolio(s) you want to connect to Promoboxx. This should be the business portfolio that owns your Facebook Business Page(s) you selected in the previous step. 

***PLEASE NOTE!: in order to run Paid Ads on Promoboxx, you need to be a Business Admin on the Business Portfolio which houses your Facebook page. If you aren't sure what permissions you have on the Portfolio, click HERE***

5. Your business portfolio will then connect to Promoboxx. You will be able to review which permissions you allow Promoboxx to have. If you have previously connected the Business Portfolio to Promoboxx, but disconnected in the past, you can still edit these permissions again upon reconnection of your pages. 

6. Grant Promoboxx permissions on the page(s) you are connecting. It’s important to allow Promoboxx the permissions requested so that it can work properly and as intended, by allowing you to publish organic and paid content onto your social pages. These are the minimum permissions required by Meta to do so.

7. Once connected successfully, you will see this confirmation page from Meta:

8. Once connected, you will be able to see your page connection(s) in your Promoboxx dashboard. Simply toggle the "Status" ON (blue, toggled right) or OFF (grey, toggled left) to connect or disconnect the page to your Promoboxx account, respectively:
