If you lacks admin access to a Meta Business Portfolio (formerly “Business Manager”) that your Facebook/Instagram business pages are attached to, you can file an Admin Dispute / Business Portfolio Admin Dispute. This is most common when an employee or agency who previously managed the portfolio (often this is who originally created your Facebook page) is no longer available or you do not have their Facebook login credentials.
Meta typically requires proof of identity (who is signing) and authority (why that person is allowed to request access) to complete these disputes. Prepare the items below before opening your request.
1) Valid ID for the person signing the request
Include a clear copy of a valid government-issued ID for the person who will sign the letter. Meta maintains a list of accepted ID types.

2) At least one supporting business document
Provide at least one document that supports the business’s identity and ties the signer to the business. Commonly accepted examples include:
Utility Bill
Articles/Certificates of Incorporation, Formation, or Organization
Business License and Permits
Doing Business As (DBA) documents
Tax Certificates and Licenses
Bank Statements / Summaries / Letters
Trademark / registered / copyright documentation
Domain Name Assignment Agreement
Deed of Assignment of Intellectual Property
Securities and trading documents
Credit score report
3) A signed letter on company letterhead (PDF)
Create a written letter in PDF format, on official company letterhead, and signed by the person whose ID is included.
Letterhead must include: company name, logo, phone number, and physical address.
Signature must: match the signer’s ID and be either handwritten or digitally verified (e.g., DocuSign).
The letter must include:
Requester relationship to the business and why they have authority to request admin access
-
Business Manager (Business Portfolio) ID

-
Explanation of the request, including:

Facebook account URL and associated email that should be added as an admin of the Business Manager
Name of the current person(s) managing the business, or a reasonable explanation of why this is not known to the requester
A truth/accuracy declaration, such as: “I certify that the information provided is true and accurate.”
